Certified quality management system

In the years 1995 to 1996 a quality management system in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001 was documented and introduced at CiS Forschungsinstitut für Mikrosensorik GmbH. It has since been effectively applied in all institute sectors.

Initial accreditation by certification body NisZert took place in May 1996. In subsequent years, the QM system has proved that an instrument has been created to streamline the internal organisation, which has resulted in an increase in the reliability of management, development and production processes.

At regular quality management reviews system regulations that require change are determined and the appropriate improvements carried out.
In 2002 the quality management system converted to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 norm. On 4 December 2002 NisZert issued the appropriate certificate. At six previous successfully conducted repeat certifications CiS was certified for having met the norm requirements.

In January 2008 the quality management system converted to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 norm.

In January 2018 the quality management system converted to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 norm. The certificate was issued by BSI Group Deutschland GmbH.
